Built in 1864 by Norodom, the Royal Palace forms an enceinte of about 250 meters by 500, surrounded by an embattled wall, and divided into five courts containing: the work-shops and offices and throne-hall, the state apartments, harem, store rooms and servants’s quarter.
Construit en 1864 par Norodom, le palais royal forme une enceinte d’ environ 250 mètres sur 500, entouré d’un mur crénelé et divisé en cinq cours comprenant: les ateliers et bureau et la salle du trône, les appartements d’ apparat, le harem, les magasins et logement des domestiques.
