Original postcards and document

Year: 1920

The King’s favorites occupy a prominent place in the palace. They are the object of very delicate attention on the part of the king. Just like the musicians and dancers, they are paid from the King’s private cassette. They live apart, while the musicians and dancers meet every day in the palace during rehearsals or during walks. Each dancer lives in a house designated for her and surrounds herself with the servants she likes. The musicians and dancers can leave the palace as they wish, under the supervision of matrons and guards.
