” Forward the People’s Republic of Kampuchea ” is a striking 1982 OSPAAAL political poster expressing Cuba’s solidarity with Cambodia following the overthrow of the Khmer Rouge in January 1979. Designed by Cuban artist Rafael Morante, these original 46 x 68.5 cm posters were offset-printed entirely in Cuba across two distinct paper stocks — thin, and moderate — serving as a historic visual record of international support during the nation’s post-genocide recovery.
