Officially named Indochinese Union then Indochinese Federation, it was founded in 1887 and until its in 1954 brought together various entities owned or disappeared dominated by France in the Far East: three countries in Southeast Asia today independent , Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, as well as a portion of Chinese territory located in the current province of Guangdong. Originally published in an 1896 book.
